Tag Question
Definition:   কেথোপকথনরে সময়  Sentence এর শেষে শ্রোতার সমর্থন বা স্বীকৃতি চেয়ে যে একটি প্রম্ন সংযোগ করা হয়, উহাকে  Tag Question বলে|

Tag Question Gi wbqgt-
     1.  মূল Sentenseটি অপরিবর্তিত অবস্হায় বসে |
2. মূল Sentense এর শেষ comma (,) বসে।
3.  Tag question এর  Subject সর্বদা  মূল sentence Gi Subject Gi pronoun nq|
4.  Tag Question গঠনে Auxiliary verb ব্যবহৃত হয়
5.  Auxiliary verb এর contract  বা সংক্ষিপ্ত রূপ হয়।
6.  Sentence এ Auxiliary  Verb না থাকলে do, does, did হয়।        
7.  Affirmative Sentence এর  Negative tag হয় এবং Negative Sentence এর AAffirmative tag হয়।
8.  Present tense এ do বা does হয়।
9.  Past tense এ  Auxiliary Verb হিসাবে did বসে। 
10. Tag form এর শেষে অবশ্যই (?) বসে।

Some important rules of Tag Question:
            1. Sentence এ যদি কোন  Auxiliary Verb না থাকে অর্থাৎ যদি শুধু Principle verb থাকে তাহলে Tag question এ do/ does / did ইত্যাদি বসে। 

Example:
a)             The birds flew in the sky, didn’t they?
b)             The bird fly does not fly in the sky, does it?
c)             Fire burns, doesn’t it?
d)             Ice floats on water, doesn’t it?

2. Tense ‡_‡K wKQz examples:
a)             I am happy, aren’t I?
b)             He is a wise man, isn’t he?
c)             You are too late, aren’t you?
d)             The boy was intelligent, wasn’t he?
e)             The farmers were poor, weren’t they?

            2. Sentence ‡_‡K wKQz examples:

                        i)          Do the work.               ii)         Don’t make a noise.
                        iii)        Sit down                      iv)        Don’t run in the sun.

Example:
a)             Come here, won’t you?
b)             Kindly take it, won’t you?
c)             Please lend me your book, will you?
d)             Don’t make a noise, will you?
