Complex to Simple

Rule 1- Though /Although যুক্ত Complex Sentence কে Simple করার Structure:

<![if !supportLists]>1.   <![endif]>To be verb (am, is, are, was, were) থাকলে--Thought / Although এর পরিবর্তন In spite of/despite বসে + Subject এর Possessive form বসে। + to be verb এর পরিবর্তন being বসে + বাকি অংশ বসে। যেমন-

Complex: Though he is poor, he is honest.

Simple:    In spite of /Despite his being poor, he is honest.

<![if !supportLists]>2.   <![endif]>To be verb (have, has, had)  থাকলে- Thought / Although এর পরিবর্তন In spite of/despite বসে + Subject এর Possessive form বসে। + to be verb এর পরিবর্তন having বসে + বাকি অংশ বসে। যেমন-

Compl. : Though he had money, he did not spend it.

Simple  : Inspite of his having money, he did not spend it.

<![if !supportLists]>3.   <![endif]>মূল verb থাকলে Though / Although এর পরিবর্তে Inspite of / Despite বসে + Subject এর Possessive Form বসে + verb এর Present Form এর সাথে - ing বসে + বাকি অংশ বসে।

Compl.: Though he studied hard, he failed in the examination.

Simple: Inspite of his studying hard, he failed in the examination

Rule 2 Since/As/When যুক্ত Complex sentence কে Simple করার

Structure: Clause দুটিতে মূল verb থাকলে+ ১ম clause এর মূল verb এর present form এর সাথে ing বসে + ১ম clause এর verb এর পরের অংশ বসে + (,) বসে + ২য় clause এর Subject এর স্থলে ১ম clause এর subject বসে + বাকি অংশ বসে।

Compl : since the man is weak,  he cannot walk.

Simple : Being weak, the man can not walk.

আবার,To be/To have verb থাকলে-- Since /As এর পরিবর্তে because of বসে + subject এর possessive form বসে + being/ having বসে + ১ম clause এর বাকি অংশ বসে + (,) বসে + ২য় clause টিকে বসে। যেমন-

Compl: As/Since he was ill, he could not go to school.

Simple: Because of illness, he could no go to school.

Rule 3 If দ্বারা গঠিত শর্তমূলক না বোধক Complex কে Simple করার

Structure: বাক্যের ১ম Without বসে + 'If' clause এর মূল verb  এর  present form এর সাথে ing বসে + verb এর পরের অংশ বসে + অপর clause টি বসে। যেমন--

Complex: If you do not read attentively, you will not pass.

Simple: Without reading attentively, you will not pass.

Rule 3 Complex  sentence টি হ্যাঁ বোধক হলে প্রথমে without এর স্থলে by বসে। যেমন-

Simple: By working hard, you will success in life.

Rule 3 So that যুক্ত complex sentence কে simple করার Structure: প্রদত্ত sentence এর প্রথম থেকে so এর পূর্ব পযর্ন্ত বসে + so থেকে may/might/can/could পযর্ন্ত উঠে গিয়ে তার পরিবর্তে to বসে + বাকি অংশ বসে।

Simple: I want to market to buy a calculator.

<![if !supportLists]>·      <![endif]>Complex: He studied hard so that he could success in life.

Simple: He studied hard to success in life.

Rule 3 So+Adjective/Adverb যুক্ত complex sentence কে Simple করার সময়- প্রথম থেকে So এর পূর্ব পযর্ন্ত বসে + so এর স্থলে too বসে + adjective টি বসে + that থেকে not পযর্ন্ত উঠে গিয়ে তার পরিবর্তে too বসে + বাকি অংশ বসে। যেমন..

Simple: He is too weak to walk.

Simple: The load was to heavy to carry it.
